We are fixing the broken cart path from #13 green to #14 tees.

Spot seeding greens

We are spot seeding greens. After seeding we topdress the spot with sand for better seed to soil contact and germination. The sand should be gone in a couple if days.

Aerifying

We are aerifying  some weak spots throughout the course which are some of the tees,fairways,roughs and around greens. The rainy weather has kept us from being able to clean up the plugs. If you come up on these areas please do not drive through them. These areas should also be played as ground under repair. Once it dries out we will get the plugs up and these areas fertilized to help promote growth.

Bentgrass seed

Our greens at Brickshire are L93 bentgrass.

For those that were wondering how big bentgrass seed is here you go.

Seeding greens

We are seeding the bad spots on the  greens. After we seed with this "high tech" shaker can on a stick we work the seed into the soil. We keep the soil moist and it should take about 7 to 10 days for the seed to germinate. Got to love this weather!😎
